Norway insolvency data — questions
- Where does Emptera's Norway insolvency data come from?
- Directly from Enhetsregisteret / Brønnøysund (konkurs), the official register. We publish no data that is not already public there, and the source is credited on every Norway company page under NLOD.
- How many insolvent companies from Norway are in Emptera?
- 3,316 companies, covering 2020-03-12 to 2026-09-10. 252 were added in the last 30 days.
- How often is Norway updated?
- Daily. Emptera re-reads Enhetsregisteret / Brønnøysund (konkurs) on a schedule, so a company that enters konkurs appears in the feed the day the register records it.
- Does Emptera publish personal data about Norway business owners?
- No. Sole traders and other natural persons are filtered out before anything is published — we index companies, not people. Company data (legal name, registration number, court, registered office) is legal-entity information and outside the scope of the GDPR under Recital 14.
